Texture pack debate

I'm in search of a new texture pack. Max pack and Faithful are just too mainstream. Other than the default and the two texture packs, can anybody suggest a good texture pack? It must be 32x32 or less and not a mini game texture pack. It must also be easily adaptable and good for searching items. I don't want to mistake armor for food like what happened once.
I will narwhal you to death, whoever gives me da best texture pack. For a week c:

JoliCraft is a good texture pack. Even though it might take a little bit getting used to.
