Our Minecraft servers are offline but we will keep this forum online for any community communication. Site permissions for posting could change at a later date but will remain online.
The Reason for this is to stop DDOS attacks and I think its a good system but by the time I try to connect the server is full. You need more servers. There is no need to rage about this. Alot of people join our servers every minute and you must realize that, or you will never get into a server anyway, plus you say you hit refresh and someone else has joined, we do not reserve places for people who struggle to connect, we try our best to help them connect as quickly as possible. You moan that you can not connect due to popularity of our servers when we give priority to VIP's and Donator's to join our servers for their support. I feel that also you should use "annoying" not "pissing" as we have young members here at MCSG and we do not want them learning that kind of language.
There is nothing to prevent a DDOS attack but when it does happen I know for a fact that our developers and hosters CubedHost work as fast as they can to prevent this and restart from a DDOS.The Reason for this is to stop DDOS attacks and I think its a good system but by the time I try to connect the server is full. Do you know what DDOS is, it is not to many logins at one moment, it is sending data to a website/server causing the hosting server to try to save these packets of data but the amount of data sent can never be saved, it sends the file and makes the server save the same file multiple times until the server either manages to stop it or crash anything that is connected to the same server. In a DDoS attack, the incoming traffic flooding the victim originates from many different sources – potentially hundreds of thousands or more. This effectively makes it impossible to stop the attack simply by blocking a single IP address; plus, it is very difficult to distinguish legitimate user traffic from attack traffic when spread across so many points of origin. Then what the hell was the "Too many logins" issue developed for?
