In light of the recent ability to change Minecraft account usernames, the following rules have been added to the General Rules section:
20. Ensure that your username is appropriate and acceptable for this community: Usernames that are deemed inappropriate or trolling are liable to be punished with a permanent ban.
  • Impersonation, or having a username similar to someone else's, is generally acceptable unless the impersonator demonstrates malicious intent with either of the following:
    • Impersonating with the intent of personal gain.
    • Impersonating with the intent of ruining the reputation of the person they are impersonating.
  • Users who are permanently banned for a username offense may be unbanned on their first offense if they change their name to something appropriate and then fill out a ban dispute.

Added a link to a translation of the rules into Croatian, Serbian, and Bosnian.
Special thanks to Mauro and Exzone for their translation!

Also, the Rules may be due to a major reformatting soon, akin to the 2015 FAQ reformatting. We could not fit in the new rules translations to fit the formatting of the other translated rules, because Xenoforo was giving us a character limit. Apparently you can't have a post with over 100,000 characters in it. Now we know!
