Chest coding!

So, I have a question. As we all know there are websites like Planet Minecraft that allows anyone to download SG/HG maps and use them on our own servers. Me and my friends have been having some fun with this and we've been playing many different maps.

I have a question though. How does the randomized items in chests on MCSG servers work? I wanna be able to have the same random items on my own servers so me and my friends can play balanced games, just for fun.

If anyone knows how MCSG does it and are willing to help me out, please reply!
