Yar, friend! This be the page for the Pirates clan, accepting any and all pirates! This ranges from a Pirate who don't do anything, all the way t'the most fearsome on the Australian Maine! (wherever that be). This be a fun, light-hearted clan, dedicated to those who feel they really do enjoy Survival Games, and wish to join a clan, but not at the Elite/Near-professional level some of the other clans provide. If you be someone who plays hard and fast, I won't turn you away, I'd be glad to have you in fact! However, this may not be the place for you.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name-
IGN-
Age- This clan doesn't have a lot of restrictions, but I'd like members to be no younger than 14.
Skype- I understand that this might be personal for a lot of people so I won't make it necessary, but if you like you can throw it here.
Do you have MCSG donor- Again, completely unnecessary, and frankly I won't say that you get special privileges in this clan if you happen to be one. Not in a mean way but trying to establish a laid-back atmosphere.
How many wins do you have- Wins aren't necessary! Most people join clans to go competitive, and we too shall compete in clan battles just like all the rest! However, the only thing I ask of my members in this area is that you feel you have it in you to win!
Will you be committed to this clan if accepted? This is one area I'd somewhat like to stress. While we are a pretty laid-back and easygoing clan in general, members should only join if they are able to stay in the clan. It's not lifelong nor binding, and I know life gets in the way, but if you see yourself getting tired and leaving the clan not long after joining, you may be seeking a more elite clan.
Why do you want to be in this clan? This ain't so important. This clan is for the people who don't take the Survival Games as serious as other competitors, but still enjoy playing on them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Clan ranks!

Ranks in this clan are, as per the norm, based on Merit! I understand that there isn't any win-requirement to join, so I'm going to base this on Bounty instead! (getting to a rank is permanent. If you hit 500 points, but then sink to 450, you'd still be at the rank for 500 points.

Ranks are as follows-

Swabbie (0-100 points)

Powder Monkey (100-175 points)

Cabin Boy (175-225 points)

Rigger (225-300 points)

Able Bodied Sailor (300-375 points)

Mate (375-450 points)

Master Gunner (450-525 points)

Carpenter or Surgeon [You choose which title upon recieiving this rank] (525-600 points)

Boatswain (600-675 points)

Sailing Master (750+ points)

Quarter Master This is not a rank achieved by points. Quarter Masters are officials selected by me or by three other QM's

Ship's Captain myself, but if I leave the clan a new one shall be selected by a vote amongst the Quarter Masters.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What's so great about all these ranks? Well privilege of course! the higher you climb within the clan, the more chance you have of being able to participate when Clan Battles come about! For instance, a Rigger would be able to take a Swabbie or Powder Monkeys place if there were none left. HOWEVER, you CANNOT take a place from someone 1 rank below you. it must be 2 or more. Any disputes are to be taken up with the Quarter Masters or myself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Applications will be handled by myself or a Quarter Master. Fill out the form provided and someone will get back to you ASAP!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I realise there is no Clan Banner but rest assured, I am on the case and will have one put together come tonight!
Good luck, however it's a better idea to base your clan ranks off wins instead of points, because points change all the time. Just a bit of friendly advice ;)
I know this, but thanks for the advice! The idea behind the points-based ranking, as inferred in the post, is because this clan is a more laid-back, easygoing style rather than fighting to win. The points system works in that once you hit a rank, you stay there, even if your points take a power-dive.
Oh, okay. I can see this possibly becoming a popular clan!
Quick Update- we now have a banner! It's nothing special, I threw it together in about an hour in SAI and may update it in future, but until then, behold!
Again, nothing grand, I didn't wanna put too much time into it as I have other things to do.
Clan PvP would be grand! Only I wish to garner a few members and see how we work as a unit before we try to fight other clans, thanks! I'll add you on Skype though, for the time being.
