I dont think its unplayable..
I ban hackers when I see them.. and the rubber band has actually been helping me seeing as I am often chasing people more than running away and they get lagged back to my sword >:3
I dont mind it so much..

It's a double edged blade. It's nice when you're chasing, but it sucks when you're running.

Kicking a hacker does nothing though, it just allows them to keep hacking on a different server, where you won't be recording. However, people can be kicked without evidence for chat offenses (I believe).

What if your whole PvP strategy is based around being a strategic coward? And now you can't run?

Mine is exactly this...except with a cherry on top. Hitting people with a fishing rod makes them often lag back to me, then I try to run and get rubberbanded back to them. z.z
My strategy is the absolute worst you could possibly use during times like these. xD
