Mine addition to maps

So I was reading the hunger games the other day and i realized, when you stepped off the platform there is a mine that explodes if you step off the plate which your on so when there are 10 seconds left you can step off the platform except that it blows up. Food for thought. Post replies and other suggestions for a more realistic Hunger games.

Honestly, I do not really believe there is a need for it, since you can't move more then a few pixels off the pedestal before it snaps you back, and the tributes are immune to damage until the game starts.

I disagree Neodude. I think this would be a cool thing to add. Sort of a way to eliminate idiots. You make that mistake once, you never make it again

well neodude, once there are 10 seconds left you can step off the platform and then the tnt comes into play

Okay, my bad, I misunderstood. You meant that the ability to leave the platforms would activate when ten seconds remained.....I like it now that I understand.

Like the idea, but you have to remember about damage to players around the idiot.

However there could be a fix for it.

Well an idea i had slingshot, would be too have the players far enough away from each other that it only kills the idiot

That would interfere with map designs and I doubt anyone wants to redo the calculations so it's fair for everyone to get to corn.

They dont have to move the podiums. They could probably code it to only kill the offender
