I think it depends on what you are/get used to.
If you have it off for a long time it will feel strange if you put it on and vice versa.

I can go both ways, although I usually have it off.

Just use whatever you feel most comfortable with. I used to have it on, but switched to off and ended up liking it better. I would use one for a day and the other for a day.

I personally have it off. I tried it on and almost felt sick. It just does not feel right.

It really depends on the circumstances, in my opinion.

For something like Survival, Factions, or Ultra Hardcore, I like to leave it on, because it gives a more classic sense of the game, and doesn't effect game play much in these senarios.


However, for really anything PvP based, I find it better off. It makes it much easier to land bow shots, as well as sword + rod combos.
