While personally, I don't skip school to play MCSG, I understand what you mean about people like Gravey4rd, to be perfectly honest, he's the ONLY person ever in the history of MCSG to put this much time and effort into the game because he has so much time.
If you compare my time played (total life) and games played with other players in the top 25 you'll see that most of them have actually spent more time on mcsg than me. I started playing mcsg in 2012 which gave me the opportunity to go for #1 before it was too far gone. I have played 6000 games in almost 2 years. I used to win grind, I'll admit that, but I don't play as much as most people seem to think.

i like the idea of timed leaderboards so if a new user joins mcsg and the are a skilled player they can still actually compete for a position on the leaderboard

Okay. Fair point, but you can't deny you kinda ruined the whole "Going for #1" thing, because when anyone gets remotely close to passing you, you "win-grind" so they are way far behind.

Excuse me? That's kinda hysterical, saying people have no lives when you've spent 7 weeks on a game, with almost 10'000 games. People have caught up, aka. Huahwi, Araxed, Austin_HG and many more. I wouldn't worry about it so much.
