Sadly, there is no option to do that, but this is exactly what I would do as well

I wouldn't. If I changed my name people wouldn't know who I am. Same thing IRL.

I'd change my name. Get rid of the underscores and make it something smaller.

At first I thought my name was dumb, and that I wanted to change my name to something like "darkphantomkiller" or something. But now that a lot of people know me and I am part of a server community I love my user name. I love the sound of it when I Join and when people say "plg!plgplgplg!!!!!" or "remember me plg!!!!!" (which is like 5+ people each game).
