For the multiple years you have been apart of these servers and continue to play, what do you reckon your biggest motivation to stay is, and your favorite aspect of the servers.

For me, I reckon the motivation to stay would be AU Clans, at this point if there weren't clans in AU, there would be nothing to do but continuously grind out games over and over.
Other than that, the most enjoyable aspect of these servers for me is getting to know new people and forming groups in which you always know you will feel welcome around .

For people who are newish, then what is it that brought you to these servers? What makes you enjoy them?

I've been playing on these servers for 3 years now and the factors that influences me to stay on these servers are The Clans, the amazing people you will meet here and especially the forums.

Being in a clan is somewhere I can play fun games with my clanmates and have enjoyable clan battles or scrims. It's somewhere, where we can bring the competitive side of myself as well as having fun with being around new people.

All the new and old players I've met have been an amazing experience, although there were some rude and arrogant people, I have friends that I have now, that influence me to stay on because I enjoy teaming and only with friends, it also gives me someone to talk to because I'm a loner

The forums! This is a place where I can feel like I'm apart of a second family, this is where most members gather around, have a look at discussions or topics, to express their opinions and have their say. I love the forums and how I reckon people are kinder and nicer on here, you'll also be able to interact with players from other regions, which is awesome to me!

These are some of the factors that influence me to stay on these servers, because the network and servers are still enjoyable, they still have that original feel to them, that's what makes this server sustain a long period of time and to be honest I don't think it's going down anytime soon

What first kept me staying here was the people I met through the forums or in-game. As of now, I honestly don't know why I stay. Not that I don't like the server or something, I still love it. But, I can't play so I lost the will to be active in every aspect.

It's the friends that keep me here.

The AU community has went over the line and has invaded everything that I use to enjoy.

Forums has seen a rise in AU players, which is good knowing that wins can stop and wait, but the whole point here on the forums is to get to know the community and socialise with everyone. Then, a bunch of a alts were made to abuse/shame people and/or farm like's for themselves. This is a place of fun, but apparently have the best post to like ratio is better.

Some people in the AU community have set this hierarchy that makes everyone fight. Some of my friends have moved on to better things in their own lives, but some have chosen to stay which is nice. But then the popularity gets to their head that they must be at the top of the standing in order to be recognised. It ruins that sense of friendship.

But this part does a good side effect, you get to find out who are actually your friends. People who actually want to listen to you speak or just want to mess around and not be caught up in competitiveness all the time. That's why I've stayed.

Most likely the guilt of knowing there are Hackers still in MCGamer so I wake up every morning crying my eyes out for atleast 3 hours until I get the courage to Open fraps and get the Hackers banned ;(
