I had a 500B EVGA power supplies
  1. check the hdmi cable and diffrent ports on the gpu.
  2. check the gpu is connected
  3. check if the gpu is starting up (fans/lights)
  4. if your mobo has a error display give us the error and the mobo number (A0 = good)
  5. if all fails contact evga about the issue and explain that the powersuppy may of fried your GPU
evga are a reputable company so if it has fried it then you should be ok

The GPU is working because the fans are moving, but it still won't come up on the monitor

Alright, here's what you should do:

Unplug any cables from your PC, turn off your PSU.

Open your PC, remove the GPU.

Plug any cables back in, reconnecting your HDMI to the motherboard iGPU.

If that doesn't work, your motherboard is probably fried. If it works, the issue lies with your GPU.

What PSU did you have before? It's possible that damage to other components is covered under its warranty.
Do what he said, and if it still doesn't work, try with a VGA or DVI cable. If none of that works, then your GPU probably got fried.
As long as you didn't do anything intentional to the PSU and GPU to make both of them fry up, contact the manufacturer. If your parts are still under their warranty you may be able to get a RMA.
