Great guide! Here is my hackintosh build I put together about eight months ago:

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670k (Not over clocked as I don't have an adequate cooler)
MoBo: GA-Z87X-UD3H
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb (8gb) 1600MHz (currently running at 1333MHz)
HDD: Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM Caviar Black
SSD: Crucial M500 120gb
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 750ti SC
CASE: Corsair Carbide 200R
PSU: Corsair CX500M
OS: Mac OS X Yosemite 10.0.o
MONITOR: Dell E2214H

I like how you can build an entire pc, then there's me who is struggling to just replace the keyboard to his laptop.

Hey everyone,

I'm aware a lot of this information is quite old as it was written about a year ago. I'd like to make some large changes to the OP to update the text, however I haven't been active in the pc building scenario. If anyone can help point out what is outdated, it would be much appreciated! ^-^
