As the title suggests - do you prefer Battlefield 4 or Call of Duty: Ghosts? For what reasons?

Personally, I prefer Battlefield 4 because it just looks stunning (PC & Next-Gen consoles - it doesn't look so good on Current-Gen consoles...) and I like to have a mix of vehicle warfare in the mix. I'm also a fan of the sprinting mechanic and the maps are amazing.

Battlefield has been somewhat...meh lately. I much prefer the earlier games, like battlefield 2, modern combat. In games like that, the singleplayer was more than just a 4 hour roller coaster. There were huge maps, with control over dozens of soldiers and plenty of room for experimentation with different approaches and tactics. Bad company still had this feel, to an extent, but it's completely gone from recent entries into the series.

As for call of duty, I just don't play them and I don't have on opinion on recent ones. I will admit, while it has the same "rollercoaster" feel in its missions, it handles this a lot better than battlefield. Doesn't mean it's all that fun, but more fun than battlefield.

Hrm, can I vote for battlefield 2? :p

Sure XD Thanks for your opinion. :3 Battlefield 4 had a really, really rocky launch - but it seems to be fine now. The campaign is pretty bad.. I'll admit I was excited for it because of the trailer (found here) but the multiplayer is fantastic (in my opinion :p) so yeah. :3

Battlefield, which is still an extremely buggy on its own, is still a better game than Ghosts. It is clear that Ghosts was made for console. The PC port (I would call it the PC version but it's so broken and horrible I'm only calling it a port) is really bad, a lot of the settings can't be changed, without a third party program, the maps are horrible, the lag feels like the Ghosts' servers are hosted on a laptop, the guns are really boring. It's just all around a bad game for PC. Battlefield, while it is buggy and forces people to use the web-based plugin to connect still feels massively more realistic and enjoyable.

Well... I don't really play FPS games unless it's Counter Strike. So that being said, I haven't played either game, but I've heard better things about Battlefield

I don't play Cod or Bf4 on PC.
Bf4 is just amazing when you play it on the consoles, in other words Battlefield>Call of duty

Seriously? I'll agree - Battlefield 4 WAS crap when it launched, but it's one of the nicest and fun games I've played... (The actually fixed the game :))
