Today, I am introducing on of my favourite video games other than Minecraft.
Osu!
I know that everyone will be like 'Pingu, what in the name of love is osu!?' Well, let me explain.
What is osu!?
Osu! is a PC Game avaliable <--- (Can't spell) on both Windows on Mac (Mac is in BETA Mode). Some may find it boring, but people like me find it fun! If your interested in music and rhythm games, then this is the game for you! Osu! is a rhythm game, where you hit circles can follow the rhythm.
Are there different gamemodes?
Yes there are! There is osu! standard mode like I explained up there. There is osu! Mania mode which is kind of like a piano mode...I guess, but I'd say mania mode is the hardest...There is osu! Catch the Beat mode where you have to catch all the falling bits of fruit. This mode is pretty easy, but I find it really hard ;o;. Finally, we have osu! Taiko mode! Taiko mode is my favourite mode other than the standard mode. Taiko mode is where you have this cute little drum, and 4 keys. Red are the Inner Keys, Blue are the Outer Keys. You got to hit them keys at the right time.
Do I have to use a mouse to play?
No! In fact, if you want to become a pro quicker, you can use your drawing tablet as a mouse! Lots of people in the osu! community use this surprisingly. This way, you can do more Insane modes, and do jumps!
Is this game free?
Yes it is! Just type up osu on the interwebs, and go on their website (not giving link D.
How do I download songs?
My friend, these are not called songs. Maps on osu! are called 'Beatmaps'! You simply type up a song in the Beatmap Search Bar, and find that song you want! Or, click on the beatmap section, to see what kinds of Beatmaps there are!
Will I actually like this game?
You can decide on one of my example videos here. By the way, you can add skins to osu! Like texture packs in Minecraft! The skin I'm using on my video is made by me, this is not the default skin.
