Nidhogg (An indie game you should check out!)

So theres this really cool 8-bit fencing game called Nidhogg. There is two people on each side of the screen when you start. The objective is you want to kill the other person and starting running the way they spawned. (Two confusing for you? Let me give you a example.) Say you're on the left side, the other person is on the right. You want to stab the person with the sword and keep moving right till you reach the end. Then the Nidhogg will eat you. That means you won. It's a really cool game it's got online multiplayer and a really cool single player and its out on steam right now! http://store.steampowered.com/app/94400/

It was in its early development back in 2010. You could play it at certain events. It was in development for a loooong time.

Really fun game but it's best played with friends. You can pick it up on Steam and also on The Humble store for a little less (atleast it costs less in UK).

In the case of this game, it's not about the graphics, it's all about the mechanics
